We braved the crowds at Rochester’s Strong Museum this weekend to meet some hard core Star Wars re-enactors. Maybe this isn’t what they like to be called, I don’t know. Anyway, you couldn’t throw a stone without hitting an imperial guard or a bounty hunter. As a father, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing your kid shake hands with a storm trooper and high-five Chewbacca, so I’m glad I have these pictures.

I found out that it’s tough taking wedding photos when you’re also taking care of your kids. But I did get a few that I liked. Congrats to Stephanie and Jon, worlds greatest in-laws.

I went apple-picking for the first time since…well I really don’t know if I’ve ever picked an apple actually. Took the family and the grandparents to the Apple Farm in Victor. Good times, excellent apples.

It was a cool, overcast Labor Day, but we still had fun at Progressive Field watching the Indians play the Tigers on Monday. Grant’s favorite part may have been the Bob Feller statue outside the ballpark.

Dean gets so excited when Grant comes in to see him in the morning. He waves his little arms and legs around, smiles and reaches for Grant. I have to think they won’t get along this well forever, but it’s nice for now.
